Renset at IRE 2026: butt fusion welding without a generator

Renset exhibited at IRE 2026 in Maastricht from 2 to 4 June. The show brings together rental professionals, equipment manufacturers, technology providers and industry leaders from across Europe and beyond.

Butt fusion without a generator

On the stand, Renset showed the PS5000 powering RITMO butt fusion welding equipment, available through IVG Libilé, for pipes up to 250 mm in diameter. Pipe welding on site normally runs on a generator. With the PS5000, the weld is made without one, and without the noise and exhaust fumes that come with it.

Meeting the rental sector

IRE gave the Renset team the opportunity to meet rental companies from across Europe and discuss how the PS5000 fits into their fleets as an alternative to petrol and diesel generators.

About the PS5000

The Renset PS5000 is a portable battery power station that replaces petrol and diesel generators on construction, industrial and utility sites. Its hot-swappable battery modules let equipment keep running while batteries are exchanged. More information is available at renset.nl/ps5000.
